Registration for SEI 2020 will open on January 13th!

Hey ArLiSNAP friends and colleagues! For anyone interested in visual information, digitization, and accessibility and equity in digital collections, we wanted to spread the word that the Summer Educational Institute for Digital Stewardship of Visual Information 2020 will be open for registration on January 13th!

This upcoming year it will be hosted by Northwestern University in Evanston, Il from June 23-26, 2020. It will be an intensive three and a half-day long workshop, featuring a curriculum taught by experts in the field, and will concern a broad range of topics related to the digital life-cycle of visual resources.

Scholarships for attending SEI 2020 will be available to students soon, so please check the website again at a later date. If you are interested in focusing more on aspects of arts librarianship or visual resources but are unable to find classes specific to these topics, attending the workshop would be a great way to supplement your MLIS studies at UW.
