Hey Arlisnappers! The Arts Library Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) has two new scholarships available for students. The Gerd Muesham Award is an "Annual recognition for an outstanding graduate student paper or project relevant to art librarianship." And the Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award "Provides support for students preparing for art or architecture librarianship or visual resources curatorship." Applications for both are due by December 9th.
Washington Performing Arts (in D.C.) also has an archival internship for Spring if you're local to the area. Priority will be given to applications received by November 6th.
The Violoncello Society of New York is seeking an intern to help organize 10 cartons of archival materials currently housed on the Upper West Side of New York City. Interested parties should contact the Society’s President, Evangeline Benedetti at vcspresident@gmail.com.
